Frequently Asked Questions
What is FDN Health and Wellness Consulting?
Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® (FDN) Health and Wellness Consulting is a non-clinical, educational approach that helps clients better understand patterns influencing their overall wellness. Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Practitioners (FDN-Ps) use functional lab data, in-depth consultations, and lifestyle education to identify areas of imbalance related to nutrition, stress, digestion, metabolism, and hormone regulation.
FDN-Ps do not diagnose or treat disease. Instead, they correlate lab findings with client-reported experiences to support diet, rest, exercise, stress management, and supplement strategies. This drug-free, client-directed approach empowers individuals to make informed lifestyle choices that support long-term wellness. Services are offered remotely, and clients are encouraged to continue working with their licensed medical providers as needed.
What are foundational labs, and why are they important?
Foundational labs are functional assessments used to explore patterns related to key body systems such as digestion, hormone balance, metabolism, immune resilience, and detoxification pathways. These labs provide educational insight, not medical diagnoses, and help inform personalized lifestyle and supplement recommendations aligned with your wellness goals.
What is the FDN model of care?
The FDN model is a client-empowered, opt-in wellness framework. Rather than receiving treatment, clients are provided with educational insight, tools, and personalized wellness strategies that they choose to implement at their own pace. This approach supports autonomy, sustainability, and long-term lifestyle change through informed decision-making.
What services do you offer, and how much does it cost?
Our signature wellness program is offered as a 90-day package and includes functional lab analysis, personalized wellness recommendations, ongoing coaching support, and educational resources. Pricing varies depending on the scope of services and labs selected. Please schedule a discovery call to determine the best fit for your needs.
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance. Our services are non-clinical and educational in nature, which allows us to provide individualized wellness support without third-party restrictions. Some clients may choose to use FSA or HSA funds when eligible. We recommend consulting your tax professional regarding reimbursement or deductible eligibility.
Is financing available?
Yes. We offer third-party financing options to support accessibility. Details are discussed during your discovery call.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept Zelle, ACH transfers, debit cards, credit cards, and wire transfers.
• Credit and debit card payments incur a processing fee of 2.9% (subject to change).
• Zelle and ACH payments do not incur processing fees.
When does my 90-day program begin?
Your 90-day program begins on the date of your Results & Recommendations Session, which is scheduled after all selected labs have been completed, resulted, and reviewed by a certified FDN-P. The program does not begin on the enrollment date, as some labs require specific timing or extended processing periods.
Are results guaranteed?
No. While we provide guidance, education, and support, outcomes vary and depend on individual participation and consistency. No specific results are promised or guaranteed.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. Due to the personalized nature of our services and the time and resources invested upon enrollment, refunds are not offered. We encourage clients to ask questions during the discovery call to ensure alignment before enrolling.
Who will I work with?
Clients work with a certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P) who provides guidance, education, and ongoing support throughout the program. Practitioners do not provide medical care and do not replace licensed healthcare providers.
What can I expect during consulting sessions?
Sessions focus on reviewing lab data from an educational perspective, discussing lifestyle factors, and supporting implementation of personalized wellness strategies. Topics may include nutrition, stress management, sleep, movement, and supplement education. The goal is to help you build understanding, confidence, and sustainable habits that support your wellness goals.
Is this service considered medical care?
